On the 21st of March 2018, local elections will be held throughout the Netherlands. On that day, everyone who lives in the Netherlands gets to decide what kind of municipality they want to live in. Most non-Dutch residents are allowed to vote for a new local council.
Even if you don't have the Dutch nationality you may vote as long as you:
- are an EU citizen, or
- have lived for at least 5 years in the Netherlands.
With your help, we can change the country from the bottom-up
If you want to live in a municipality where everyone feels welcome, where climate change is addressed locally in order to meet goals set by the Paris agreement, and where no one needs to rely on food banks and everybody can pay their medical bill: GroenLinks is the progressive party you'll want to give your vote to.
This is what GroenLinks wants:
- A healthy future: a green Eindhoven with well-insulated, energy efficient homes and clean air
- A fair chance for everyone: We want to distribute our prosperity evenly, and we want to fight and tackle debt problems.
- Good education: Affordable and accessible education for everybody living in Eindhoven
